I moved. (digitally speaking)
My blog now resides at http://www.middleagedmormonman.com/home/, instead of my old blogspot address. Thought you should know so you can still find me.
Why? Several reasons:
1) I wanted my own domain so I can use whatever blogging platform I want. I’m all about choice and agency – ever since the pre-mortal existence.
2) I don’t trust Google. They killed off Google Reader without so much as a simple eulogy – no tears or regrets. What’s to keep them from messing with Blogger?
(If you are looking for something to replace Reader, I put buttons up for both Bloglovin’ and Feedly over there—->)
!!! If you are already following on Bloglovin’ or Feedly, please sign up again so that it doesn’t point you to the blogspot address. The buttons have been updated.
!!! I also updated the button on the sidebar. If you are one of those charitable folks who have my button on your blog – this is the new & improved button. Thanks!
3) Deep inside, I harbor a fear that some of the die-hard WordPress fanatics that I know are going to find out where I live, break into my house, and forcibly move my blog to WordPress. Those people are like that!
4) My life is not complicated enough, so I wanted to destroy any data that has been collected regarding my blog, lose all my links, and start over with a new url. What was I thinking?
5) Might as well make the change in the middle of the summer when everybody has better things to do that read my blog.
Your emails stopped coming to me too probably around June 1 now I know why Will be glad if you figure out a way to have them Return to my email
I think Blogger will be around as long as people keep bloggin’.
I hope so anyway, I have too many pictures stored on the five or six different blogs I have.
Btw, WordPress scares me too.
Continuing to leave me in your dust….I’m going back in the pool.
I hope blogger stays around for a long time. I’m not techno-savvy enough to make the change. (Notice the use of the hyphen?)

WordPress rocks. Just sayin’
As long as you keep linking over in Facebook, my world will continue.
Unless you unfriend me. Then it could get ugly.
I liked it better when you added bacon.
Thank you, Captain Obvious.
Any chance you can set up following by email as an option? Pretty please? I like having things show up right in my inbox.
I had an option with Feedburner, but it stopped working on June 1. I’ll look for an alternative.
