It was a wonderful weekend – full of instruction and hope. In addition, I had some questions answered. I also noticed a few things that I want to pass on to you.
I was happy to see this:
This is always good to see:
Everyone was so excited to see Elder Archuleta, that nobody noticed who else was there:
And I probably wouldn’t have even noticed, if I hadn’t seen this:

FYI: the guy sitting directly behind Ryan 🙂 is Doug Brenchley, MTC choir director extrordinaire – one of the few people who could get a bunch young adults together for a handful of practices and within a couple weeks transform them into a young mo tab choir!
Ryan may have more hair, but Doug got all the personality.
Thanks for the giggles. I can’t believe I missed the all-you-can-eat BBQ.
That may just be my all time favorite post of yours. Very funny stuff. You should do some regular photo shop installments.
Love the observations and sense of humor. We can’t take ourselves too seriously.
But on the other hand, this was one conference where I really felt like it was divinely inspired just for me.
Especially the drink holders.
Please share! I’m writing my thoughts for a post tomorrow or Wednesday.
Love the last pic….basketball. Too funny.
Hahaha you definately got me. I was like, was Ryan Seacrest really there. Then I saw the rest of the pictures and realize I had just been punked! lol
HILARIOUS. My husband and I are cracking up over the basketball game on the monitors!!! My face hurts from laughing.
Sariah: It’s still on my screen. ?
(Didn’t see your reply until just now…)
This is funny because it isn’t on mine, but when I look at your blog on my smartphone it is. I got all excited when I just now noticed it this morning while reading your Archie post, and (not having seen your reply here) thought, “He put it back!”… then in my best Steve Urkel voice, “Did I do that???”… But apparently not. lol
I’m bummed. (Not because I just learned I don’t, in fact, have such influence over your blog design. lol) I wonder why my PC screen doesn’t like that option. I guess if I ever feel the need to click that option, I’ll have to use my smartphone. 😉
I notice that your “You need to see your bishop” reaction isn’t available anymore. Not that I would have clicked it for this post… just an observation.
😉
Ryan Seacrest was a nice touch.
So funny!
And is that a Mtn. Dew in the drink holder?
After all the effort that was made to get Archuleta front and center in the choir, I’m surprised they didn’t show him more than once. The viewership of the 12-18 year old girls would have skyrocketed.
I just fooled my sister into believing Ryan was at conference 🙂 thanks for the material!
Thanks for the shout-out Michelle!
Awesome! I mentioned you on my “post-conference” blog post last night! I love your blog & your humorous insights!
Love it!
I must’ve missed the talk about making more use of Photoshop for righteous reasons.
Actually, that is a holdover from President Uchtdorf’s talk to the RS about “Creating”.
Even Joseph Smith said that a bow shouldn’t be strung tightly at all times. A general sense of humor is always appreciated.
