I am having one of those Saturdays. Consider this a “Cash Cab Shout Out” to the following question:
Now exactly why did we have all these kids?
This feeling does remind me of a great song from the ’80s

I thought it was a “cash cow”. You know, like the calf they tape money to at the rodeo and all the little kids chase it to try to get money….
I know that’s not the real etymology of cash cow. Didn’t it have something to do with Jack and the Beanstalk?
I know I already replied but here I am again. I thought I should actually answer the question: You played. Our advice to Yong newly weds is “Play now, pay later.” Works with credit also.
Answer: to make us better people. Some people only need a couple of kids to make them decent people. Apparently, I need like 8 before I even approach average goodness.
When I was little, my mom’s Visiting Teacher gave her some advice. The advice was for my mom to say, out loud, “Children are a joy and a blessing,” whenever she felt frustrated, overwhelmed, etc. And then to repeat it.. Repeat it until she believed it. Sometimes that took longer than others.
And when it took longer, that’s when we knew we were really in trouble! lol
Having a bad day MMM?
I keep asking myself the same question this week.
Because when a woman says to a man, “give me your seed” it is only a matter of time until she gets what she wants. Also, first commandment and children are an heritage to the Lord jazz but mostly the first part.
How do I not remember a song from the 80’s?
Our question is very similar: How did we end up with 6 teenagers at once? The song is fitting in our situation as well.
Good luck. Parenting. The most rewarding and frustrating job in the world.
