I got nothin’. Absolutely nothing.
I am still so awash from the emotion of Elder Holland’s talk that I can hardly type – let alone be funny. What a masterful discourse.
I love him.
I love Peter.
And Yes, I love the Savior.
Good Sabbath!

Wow, something rendering you mostly speechless and without anything witty to say. That session was serious business.
For me, Elder Holland was the pinnacle of this weekend’s conference. His talk moved me to tears and had more impact on me than any other speaker. I love the Spirit that was present throughout the weekend.
I love him (Elder Holland) too. I love them all!
Elder Eyring set me off and I proceeded to bawl for the entire two hours – how I love these giant, gentle men! And for all your bluster MMM, I believe you’re one of them!
Move over people, Elder Holland is MY apostle. He was pres of BYU when I was there. I heard him give his famous “Of Souls Symbols and Sacraments” speech. Last spring he spoke at our stake conference. He blessed the entire congregations. It was very moving. I sang in the choir just so I could sit up on the stand with him.

It was amazing! I felt like Bednar explained the how, and Holland and Hales explained the why. It was WONDERFUL!
I have loved Elder Holland for almost 40 years. I was a young mother in Southern California and the highlight of my summer was Education Week. This particular day I arrived a little late and the class that I had wanted to be in was full. The only class that had empty seats was one on the Old Testament taught by an unknown young man, Jeffrey Holland, who worked for the CES. I seriously considered just skipping it but went in and sat down to be spiritually fed and given a new found love of the Old Testament. Part way through his excited talk he took out his hankerchief and wiped off the microphone. “The maintenance people don’t like me because I short out their electric systems with my enthusiastic spittal.” I don’t know if that is an exact quote but it’s what I remember.
I loved Elder Holland’s talk as well. He has the ability to make me feel awful, but yet hopeful enough that repentance is possible. I didnt understand why the audience laughed when he said ” I can get my own fish”…maybe I was hearing it differently.
Elder Holland says things with such feeling and truth that My heart is almost bursting and tears running down my cheeks. His testimony builds my testimony!
A-ma-zing!! Absolutely LOVE Conference!! Absolutely LOVE Elder Holland!! Absolutely LOVE President Monson!! Such an uplifting morning!!
He finished. I was sobbing. Splenda Daddy says, “Gosh would hate to follow that” and then who spoke? THE PROPHET! Still soaking it in and making my notes to be looked at later when I need a boost!
Amen brother!
That talk was amazing.
Nice. Elder Holland’s such a nice person. He is like that in person, too.
I adore a humble man…when you got nothing, it really when you have the most eh? It was incredible.
Holland is incredible. The talk was beautiful. I can’t wait to watch it again on LDS.org.
Such a beautiful session!
