Adios, Amigo.

Today I dropped my MacBook Pro onto concrete from approximately 6 feet off the ground.

I am reduced to blogging this announcement on my iPhone. And my iPhone virtual keyboard hates me.

This may be the end of my blogging life as we now know it.

No, I don’t know what that means, and I just spent all my money on commemerative plates featuring the new Pope.

Have a lovely day!

  1. Too bad about your MacBook. Maybe your fam will give you a new one for Fathers’ Day! So, where will you be hanging all those plates? Dining room? Kitchen? Over the sofa in the living room? I think you might confuse a few people if they see Pope plates in your home. 🙂

  2. Did you cry when it happened like Jobs did in business meetings? You should change your Blog title to “Middle-Aged Apple Groupie…. for Apple Groupies”

  3. So very sorry. Would you like us to take a collection? Heaven knows we wouldn’t want you to sell your new plates. My first knowledge of who the new Pope was came not from my home page news or Fox news but from FB…LDS.org congratulating our Catholic friends. That made me feel good.

    1. I can imagine us taking up a collection. The problem with being an anonymous blogger, when you need money for a new computer and your vast readership decides to give it to you…there’s no way to deliver it, because no one knows where to send it. Hmmm. You could give us your EC’s address, and we could send it to her. I’m pretty sure she knows who you are. 😉

  4. Whilst my ever softening heart aches for your pain and loss, my natural (wo)man shouts, “Hustle it up and replace it brother! I am NOT going back into the MMM withdrawal shakes!”

So sad for you and all the rest of us! Someone, quick, find a good sale for this sufferer, and ease all of our withdrawal!

  6. oh man…I’m soooo sorry. A few months ago, I spilled some water on my macbook pro. I almost cried when it happened. Then I actually did cry when I told my husband. We aired it out for a week, and it was as if nothing had ever happened.

  7. Hope you have insurance on it. I could go into complete withdrawal, maybe even cardiac arrest, without your blogs.
