Hey fellow Arizonans! Sorry about the late notice, but something pretty great is happening tomorrow night. Inspirational singer and composer Kenneth Cope is performing a concert tomorrow (Friday) night at Mesquite Jr. High School
You might know him from his works like “”His Hands,” “Never a Better Hero” and “Women at the Well.” He is also working on a new musical entitled ‘Son of Man.” (Maybe we’ll get a peek?”)
My FAVORITE part about the concert is that part of the proceeds go to Care For Life, which is the best charity/humanitarian group I have ever seen. (And I’ve seen a lot.)
The beautiful part about CFL is that the program is remarkably effective. (Basically, CFL has shown the ability to reduce infant mortality and maternal death rates in sub-saharan Africa better than any other program in the world. (Not my opinion – results of studies by folks like Harvard, etc.)
The other beauty is that CFL is run by good people and teaches principles that adhere to LDS gospel principles. I am proud to be a part of the gang that helped create it.
I invite you to go enjoy the show, and know that part of the proceeds go to save peoples lives.
Not a bad way to spend a Friday evening. Date night ideas? Look no more.

My favorite is ‘God Loves Broken Things!’
Oh, I’m so jealous! Kenneth Cope is one of our favorite LDS composer/singer!!! Enjoy the concert, Arizona!!!
I have loved Kenneth Cope’s music for a long time. “Face to Face” is probably my favorite of his. I almost wish I lived closer now, this would be a fantastic activity to attend!
