Last month I was invited to participate in a podcast for writers called “Ready-Set-Write.” It is the combined brainchild of authors Randy Lindsay, Janette Rallison, Brock Booher and Aaron Blaylock. Looks like they have uploaded them to the website, and thought I’d share.
The main focus of the podcast is writing, but it careens wildly from topic to topic. I participated in two of the recordings. They are 20 minutes long, so they don’t require a huge commitment. I must say, it is remarkable how quickly 20 minutes can zing by when you get chatting with people.
It was a lot of fun. I went into it with a little trepidation, having not done this before, but after about 3 minutes you forget that you are being recorded and it gets fun and comfortable..
The first podcast I participated in was about me. Me, me, me. So, if you want to know more about me and why and how I do what I do, click on this link: http://www.readysetwritepodcast.com/home/episode-31-brad-mcbride-interview
The second podcast is about writing humor, and Janette knows her stuff. Here is the link to the second: http://www.readysetwritepodcast.com/home/episode-32-humor
If you are a writer, or blog follower, you might find these interesting, and worth your time. Feel free to listen to the other 30 podcasts they have on the site, and leave comments!
