That is it for this year’s International Hug a Convert Day.
A sincere thank you to all those who had the courage to and conviction to share their personal stories with the world. I personally thank you for letting my little blog be the venue to share such beautiful testimonies.
Yes, there were fewer stories this year, but what I ran was wonderful. To those who missed the opportunity, I would invite you to start writing now, and get ready for next year. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the date for IHACD5 will be June 5, 2016.
Also, a special thanks to those of you who were supportive and read and comment on the posts. I feel that this simple act of sharing our stories, and acknowledging them, creates bonds that encircle the globe, and make our LDS world a little smaller.
I also hope that these testimonies have helped reinforce these two simple truths:
• The Gospel and Church are true.
• It is worth it.
Thank you,
Brad

I’ve really been enjoying the stories. So thankful for those that shared them with us!
This year was fantastic, as usual. Thank you all for sharing the inspiring stories! And thank you, MMM, for hosting this amazing event.
Thank you for the encouragement to share our story, but most of all to write it down. Everybody has a story and whether shared here or not should be writing more of them down. Brad you have helped me to stop procrastinating and I really appreciate the extra promptings I have been receiving. (((hugs)))) I like giving hugs it was great to be on the other side this time.
It helps strengthen my testimony to read these. Thank you for sponsoring it and thank you to all the converts willing to share their stories!
MMM….I love stories, especially really great stories with challenges, mystery, journeys and faith. Every year in June I can count on finding some of the best right here on your blog for a week in June. Thanks to you and those willing to share for uplifting me once again.
I loved them and am only sad it’s over. I always love hearing conversion stories. Thank you for doing this and thank you to all who shared. Love your blog. I have been a silent follower for a couple of years.
Thanks for doing this Brad! These stories are great, except you need to add a disclaimer to not read them if you don’t want others to see you cry or your make-up run (I know, not a problem for half your readers). I did include a link to your website on my website for a college course I’m taking online from BYUI (link: http://copelandfamilyvalues.blogspot.com/2015/06/about-converts-to-our-church.html).
Looking forward to next year!
Paula
