Note: If you are looking for a deeply profound, or spiritually uplifting post today, all I can say is “I’m sorry.” Instead, you get monkeys.
I am the first to admit that I can be a little weird. This is one of those occasions. The other day, someone referenced an old picture that I drag out once-in-a-while when I feel it is needed. This was one of those weeks. Here is the picture:
This caused me to go looking at other pictures of snow monkeys – also known as the Japanese Macaque. The are cool looking, and live in snow country in Japan.
As I looked at the pictures, and saw how there little societies work, I asked myself this – I wonder what snow monkeys would be like if they were Mormon. From that point, I got a little bit crazy….
Enjoy: (Oh, and if you want to use any of these, I would appreciate it if you would credit me, and mention the blog. Thanks.)

You forgot the one about the missionary discussions not mentioning all the tables and chairs to be moved.
What so true about all this, is this stuff really does happen and the people all have the same look. Eyes say it all.
Silent, helpless laughter. Thank you. It’s been quite the morning.
MMM-
You are inspired!! My boy is at this moment serving his mission in Ueda Japan, the actual location of the snow monkeys in the pictures! Just last week he drop-boxed us pictures from his P-day visit to the monkeys. While the LDS Branch there is small because the monkeys don’t actually attend, I will send these pics to my boy and you will be guaranteed international success as you go viral.
And I still don’t understand why we have snow in Utah but no monkeys.

As a Sunbeam teacher – thought the one with the goldfish crackers was absolutely hilarious! But all of them are great!
Really quite funny. The Sunday School presidency one is my favorite too! Happy Sunday!
Very funny. They are interesting monkeys.

I especially love the Sunday School presidency one.
Hey this would make a great book. Could you do it in time for Christmas? I loved it!
Well they are white and delightsome.
I should have waited until after church to read this.
Now I’m going to be figuring out which member is what monkey.
Despite my aversion to monkeys in general, I got a good chuckle out of today’s post. (The pew one was hilarious!)
Brilliant! Well done, MMM.
Spot on! Thanks for putting into “monkey” what a lot of us think on a daily basis.
