Hey! I just wanted to let you know that you have all kinds of followers down here in Brazil. Your blog is amazing and I’m particularly fond of the reverence topics, since I have two little ones that are still learning how to behave well at church (well, the toddler is, the other one is a newborn, which makes it really SIMPLE – not – to look after my little girl since my husband sits up on the stand). Anyway, I’d like to thank you for dedicating your time to share all this with us. You are awesome!
Wait a second… is there really talk about “crashing” the priesthood session? Like the actual Conference Center or just ladies deciding to show up to the stake center? I’ve never heard anything BARRING women from showing up, just it’s…not…their meeting – so why show up?
On a lighter note. Had back to school night yesterday. Our 4th grade teacher said they are working on making a class mission statement and our daughter kept talking about a book with funny mottos.
Failed Family Mottos.
Apparently the teacher wants goo examples of what *not* to do? So it’s in her backpack, ready for service.

tempest in a teapot (herbal of course)
Sounds like the ‘wear pants to church’ thing some ladies did last year. Why are these things such a big deal? None of it is forbidden.
Is this an actual thing? Seriously? People are just weird.
Wouldn’t want the sisters to learn all of those secrets which are discussed in the meeting but redacted from the Conference Report in the Ensign!
Why would anyone – male or female – want to attend ANOTHER meeting?
And it is just silly, since you can watch and read either session online afterward!
LOL!! Exactly!!

Thank you Ellen! Eu amo os brasileiros!
And I thought *I* had a pretty boring life… sigh!
You are on a humor roll this week. =)
I had no idea this was even going on!

Proud to be a part of the education of our children.
I love this! If only it were not going to be tried in a few weeks at the Priesthood Session by some ladies. 😛
