3) Also, September marked the month that my EC and FOML1 actually posted comments on my blog. And to my surprise, they weren’t angry, embarrassed of vengeful.
4) I would also like to thank my cyberfamily of earliest supporters: Melissa, Mindi, Cheeseboy & Michael. (Yes, I’m thanking Cheeseboy, even though he is all caught up in that “twittering” and his addiction is destroying his soul. I mean blog.)
5) Ardis Parshall runs a Mormon history blog called “Keepapitchin“. You should read it. Not only is she way smarter than the rest of us, she has a huge heart. She has helped me navigate this strange blogging world with tremendous grace. Thanks Ardis!
6) While it may appear that I just slap these posts together before I take my morning shower, you need to know that there is a lot of research that goes into each one. All of this studying about the LDS faith has made me a lot more curious about becoming a member of the Church.
7) My original observation still holds true: The vast majority of my readers are exceptionally intelligent and attractive, which comes as quite a surprise considering I have quite a following in West Virginia.
8) I have only had to send 2 emails of apology so far to people who have taken offense at my thoughts. I might have to adjust that after this post.
Thanks for reading, thanks for most of the comments. Thanks for keeping this a safe place to talk about important things, and joke about the not-so-important ones.
Oh! One more…
9) The Church is true. Absolutely.
Behave!

Denalee: Sorry, it’s just that I get too choked up.. I’m sure you understand.
Crytstal: The “Behave” was directed specifically at you.
RJR: Thanks. I had always assumed you had been assigned to follow my blog so that I could have at least one Brit reader.
Mindi: As usually, you give a stunningly accurate self-assessment.
All: No I’m not making Jesus t-shirts. That would be inappropriate. Ties and aprons, maybe.
200 posts?!? Good job on being insightful, funny, and giving me cool stuff to ponder…
One of my favorite posts is “Parenting, Eden style” but now I know there is 200 posts I have more reading to do.
Thanks 🙂
Linda
Behave? Hmmm. Workin on it…
Good job! The people love ya! 🙂
I’m impressed! You have like doubled your followers in the past month…I know, crazy, huh?! More than four people reading you on a daily basis…
Sandy
For some reason I can’t comment from my computer but I can on my phone? Am I being blocked from commenting on the awesomeness of this blog? 🙁 I was hoping to be thanked in the 300 post.
Wait one little minute MMM …. I think I was your 3rd follower or something like that! I thought with your 200th post there would be a little “Hey Silver Strands! Thanks for believing in me!” or something … jk
Anyway, I agree. #1 thought at the top there – it’s true … President Uchtdorf really draws a crowd!
I’ll pass, thanks. Thought of it. mentioned it, discarded it, and moved on already.
Consider it done. presidentuchtdorf.blogspot.com. If you’d like to be added as a co-author, let me know.
Congratulations on 200! Well done. It’s been great to be on board from the early stages. You’ve raised the bar on the level of discourse over in the Den. I will, however, continue to chime in with the left-leaning stuff. Someone has to. I suppose I could just wait until Mitt flips again and goes a little left…seriously, brother in the blogosphere, keep up the great work!
Love the T-shirt idea!
I am proud to be apart of your cyber family, even if I am the sister everyone talks about when I’m not around and you all speculate on how it’s possible I even got married and mourn for my dear husband.
I like how you slipped #6 in there-I’ll send some reps over STAT!
@Montserrat…well at the beginning it was Elder Bednar everyone was gah-gah for. I think Elder U has pulled ahead. The promotion helped! 🙂
Congratulations,MMM! So happy for you.
BTW – Did you see the “My Mormon Mommy’s Blog is better than Your Mormon Mommy’s Blog” tshirt? You need your own of those…or something.

Congratulations, by the way!!
Hey now! Watch it with the WV comments before I take my tooth out and beat you with it.
Weren’t the Waltons from West Virginia?
Wahoo!
Hello, and congratulations on reaching your 200 mark. You are still holding my interest 🙂
If you haven’t already come across it, you may be interested in a blog hop that is going on today / this week over at http://www.beinglds.blogspot.com I’m sure several of your post fit the bill 🙂
Anon/M: Easy, tiger! I still can’t say those things in the same breath. And the crack about WV was a test to see if they have a sense of humor.
(Anon/M) I think it’s pretty nice that, after decades of belonging to a church led by saintly very old men, we now have a true rock star in the Presidency. How long has it been before you could say “sexy” and First Presidency in the same breath? Pres. Uchtdorf belongs to the very small group of people who look better in their mature years than in youth. And, of course, his intelligence, righteousness and cute accent do not hurt either. I wish Sister Uchtdorf a long healthy life, but, if something would happen to her, I bet there will be a line of hopeful single ladies in their fifties holding a resume to apply for the job. And that line could wind three times around the Temple Square block.
PS – Can you please lay off the wonderful people of West Virginia?
200 already? Wow! Congrats on that milestone.
I think it’s rather funny how people are drawn to everything Pres. Uchtdorf. I remember some of his first talks in General Conference as a new GA and how hard it was to understand his English.
